The urchins sit at opposite ends of the breakfast table, eating quietly.
Minutes pass, then Natalie looks across the table at Connor and breaks the silence. "You're a good brother, Connor," she says.
"Thank you, Natalie," Connor replies.
And then, they both go back to their silence and their breakfasts.
I don't know what was going on in Natalie's mind to prompt such a declaration, but maybe, just maybe, it looked a bit like this:

Oh my goodness, I am in love with my nephew and niece. Such great pictures, Jennifer, and great memories. I second what Aunt Patty said.
